Custom / Advanced plan

Travel portal development for agencies that sell their own packages

Short answer: we build a travel portal for ₹45,000. It covers package search, an itinerary builder, online booking with payments to your bank, a team admin panel, an enquiry CRM and multi-currency prices, with the first year of hosting, domain and maintenance free. It suits tour operators and agencies with many packages. Live flight and hotel inventory is not included.

What you get for ₹45,000

The Custom / Advanced plan includes everything in our Professional website, then adds the parts that turn a brochure site into a booking system. Every item below is part of the fixed price. Anything beyond it is written into the scope and priced before we start, so the number on this page is the number on your invoice.

Package search and filters

Visitors search your packages by destination, month, duration, budget and trip type, and the results update without a page reload. Every package has its own page with photos, day by day plan, inclusions, exclusions, dates and price.

Itinerary builder

Your team builds a day by day itinerary in the admin from reusable blocks: hotels, transfers, sightseeing and meals. The same itinerary shows on the package page and exports as a branded PDF you can send on WhatsApp.

Online booking and payment

A customer picks a departure date and number of travellers, sees the total, and pays an advance or the full amount through a payment gateway linked to your bank account. You and the customer both get a confirmation.

Admin panel for the whole team

Separate logins for staff, with control over who can edit prices and who can only reply to leads. Add packages, change prices, close sold out departures and upload photos without calling a developer.

Enquiry CRM

Every enquiry from forms, package pages and booking attempts lands in one list with its source, trip and status. Assign it to a team member, add notes, and open WhatsApp with the customer's number in one tap.

Multi-currency prices

Show package prices in rupees plus the currencies your overseas customers use, such as US dollars, euros or dirhams, with rates you control from the admin. Useful for DMCs and inbound operators.

Optional scope: B2B agent login. If you work with sub-agents, we can add agent accounts with net rates, commission and bookings made on behalf of their customers. It changes how prices and permissions work across the whole portal, so we scope it separately and quote it on top.

Travel website vs travel portal

Most agencies do not need a portal. A website shows what you sell and starts a conversation; a portal lets the customer finish the purchase without one. We wrote a longer comparison in travel website vs travel portal.

How booking and payment work

A customer finds a package through search or a destination page, opens it, and picks a departure date and the number of adults and children. The portal works out the total from the prices you set, including child rates and single supplements if you use them.

They then choose to pay an advance or the full amount. Payment goes through a gateway such as Razorpay, Cashfree or PayU, under an account opened in your business name, and settles straight to your bank. We never sit in the middle of your money.

Once paid, the booking appears in the admin with its status, the customer receives a confirmation, and your team gets a notification. The traveller details, balance due and any notes stay against that booking in the CRM, so whoever picks up the phone next can see the whole history.

Customers who are not ready to pay can still send an enquiry from any package. Those leads land in the same CRM, tagged with the package they came from, and open in WhatsApp with one tap.

When you need a GDS or flight API vendor instead

Our portal sells the packages you design and price yourself. It does not pull live airline seats or hotel rooms from global inventory. That kind of portal runs on a GDS such as Amadeus, Sabre or Travelport, or on a B2B consolidator API, and the supplier contract decides most of the cost: setup fees, security deposits, per booking charges and an approval process that can take weeks.

If your business is mainly air tickets or hotel-only bookings, you are better served by a vendor that sells a ready GDS portal under licence, and the quotes you receive will be in lakhs, not thousands. If you already have API access from a supplier, send us the documentation and we will tell you honestly whether we can integrate it and what it would cost.

Build timeline

  1. Step 1

    Scope in writing

We list every page, feature, role and integration, with the price and the delivery date, and you approve it on WhatsApp or email.

  2. Step 2

    Free design demo

You see the home page and a package page on your own brand before paying anything.

  3. Step 3

    Build

Search, booking, admin, CRM and itinerary builder, shared with you on a test link as each part is ready.

  4. Step 4

    Your packages go in

We load your first set of packages with you, then your team adds the rest from the admin.

You apply for the gateway in your business name; we connect it once it is approved and run test payments.

  6. Step 6

    Launch and handover

The portal goes live on your domain, your team gets logins and a walkthrough, and we stay on for maintenance.

Travel portal questions

How much does travel portal development cost in India?
Our travel portal is a fixed ₹45,000 for an agency that sells its own packages: package search, itinerary builder, online booking with payments, a team admin panel, an enquiry CRM and multi-currency prices. The first year of hosting, domain and maintenance is included. Portals built on live flight and hotel inventory from GDS suppliers cost far more, often several lakhs plus monthly API fees, because the supplier contracts are the expensive part.
Can the portal book flights and hotels live?
Not in the ₹45,000 build. Live flight and hotel booking needs a contract with a GDS or a consolidator such as Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport or a B2B hotel API, each with its own fees, deposits and approval process. If you already have API access, we can quote the integration separately after reading their documentation. For most agencies that sell packages, the portal described here is the better fit.
Is B2B agent login included?
No, it is optional. Some operators want sub-agents to log in, see net rates and book on behalf of their customers. That needs agent accounts, separate pricing and commission rules, so we scope it with you and quote it on top of the ₹45,000.
How long does a travel portal take to build?
We agree the delivery date in the written scope before starting. A portal takes weeks rather than days: design approval, building search and booking, loading your packages, and payment gateway approval, which depends on the gateway's own KYC checks. Sending packages and photos early is the single biggest thing that keeps a portal on schedule.
Who owns the portal once it is built?
You do, once the project is paid in full. The domain is registered in your name, the payment gateway account is yours, and payments go straight to your bank. We hand over every login at launch.
Do I need a portal or is a website enough?
If most of your bookings close on WhatsApp after a conversation, a website at ₹8,000 to ₹16,000 is enough. A portal pays off when you run many packages and fixed departures, have more than one person handling leads, or want customers to pay without talking to you first.

See it on your brand before you decide

Send us your logo and two or three packages. We will build a working demo of the home page and a package page so you can judge the design on your own phone.
