Furniture and interior website design that brings people to the showroom
Furniture and furnishing is a showroom business. People sit on the sofa before they buy it. What the website does is decide which showroom they drive to, and it does that by showing the range clearly, giving an honest sense of price level, and making it easy to ask one question before they set out.
We build furniture, furnishing and interior sites around that trip. Category pages, real product photos, and a WhatsApp enquiry that arrives already naming the piece.
What decides whether someone visits your showroom
We built and shipped a furnishing retailer's site on its own domain, and the traffic pattern was clear. Visitors browsed two or three categories, checked whether the range matched their budget, then either messaged or left. These three things decide which of the two happens.
Categories a customer already thinks in
Sofas, beds, dining, wardrobes, curtains, mattresses, office. One page per category, because a shopper looking for a wardrobe should never have to scroll past dining tables to find one, and each category page can rank on its own.
An honest signal of price level
You do not have to publish every price, but a range or a starting from figure per category stops you wasting showroom time on visitors who were never in your bracket, and stops the ones who are from assuming you are out of theirs.
Project galleries for interior work
If you do interiors as well as retail, completed rooms sell better than product shots. Before and after, room type, and a short note on what was done gives a homeowner something they can picture in their own flat.
Retail sites we have shipped
The first link is a furnishing retailer we built, live on its own domain. The others are catalogue driven retail sites that show the same approach in other trades. There is more of this work in the portfolio.
What is included in a furniture or interiors site
- One page per product category with photos and specifications
- Materials, dimensions, finishes and customisation options
- Project or room gallery for interior and fit out work
- Prefilled WhatsApp enquiry on every product and project
- Showroom page with map, timings and click to call
- Offers and new arrivals sections you can refresh
- Delivery, installation and warranty information
- Compressed images so a heavy catalogue still loads fast
₹6,000 reskins one of our retail designs on your brand. An original build starts at ₹10,000, and a showroom with many categories plus a project gallery usually lands at ₹20,000. The tiers are broken down on the services and pricing page.
If your range changes often, take the admin panel option so your team can add products and update photos without going through us.
For most furniture businesses we would not build a checkout first. The considered purchase happens in the showroom, and the money is better spent on photography and category pages that get people there. If you sell smaller items where online ordering makes sense, we will add payments for those.
Questions we get asked before every project
- Should a furniture website sell online?
- Sometimes, for smaller and lower priced items like cushions, curtains, lamps and mattresses. For sofas, beds and wardrobes the purchase is considered and physical, and a checkout mostly goes unused. Our honest recommendation for most showrooms is to build for the visit and the WhatsApp enquiry first, and add online selling later for the categories where it actually converts.
- What does a website actually cost?
- Reskinning one of our ready made designs with your logo, colours, photos and content costs ₹6,000. An original build starts at ₹10,000 for a four to five page site, ₹20,000 for a seven to eight page site with listings and a blog, and ₹40,000 for a full custom booking flow with post launch support. Those are the real numbers, published rather than quoted after a discovery call.
- We do interiors as well as retail. Can one site do both?
- Yes, and it works well as long as the two are kept visually separate. The retail catalogue serves people who want to buy a piece, and the project gallery serves people who want a room done. They are different visitors with different questions, so they get different sections and different enquiry forms.
- Who takes the product photos?
- You or a local photographer. Consistency matters more than equipment. The same angle, the same background and the same lighting across a category makes a small range look like a proper showroom, while mismatched photos make a large range look messy. We will tell you plainly if the photos are holding the site back.
- Do I need to buy the domain and hosting separately?
- A .com or .in domain costs roughly ₹800 to ₹1,200 a year and you buy it in your own name, so you own it. Hosting for the sites we build is free on Vercel's starter plan for normal business traffic. We set both up with you and hand over the logins. We do not resell hosting or hold your domain hostage.
- How long does it take?
- Three to five days for a reskin once photos arrive. Seven to ten working days for a four to five page original build. Twelve to fifteen for a full catalogue with several categories and a project gallery.
