Saree and textile shop website design, built around the catalogue
A saree shop's website is a shop window that stays open at midnight. Customers browse collections, screenshot the two they like, and message you asking whether it is still available and what the price is. If your website makes that easy you get the message. If it does not, they screenshot a competitor instead.
We build textile and saree sites where the catalogue is fast on mobile data, organised by the categories customers actually ask for, and one tap away from a WhatsApp conversation.
What a textile shop website has to get right
We have built for both a saree retailer on its own domain and a textile market showroom, and the same three things decided whether the site worked. None of them is about how pretty the homepage is. Jewellery shops behave almost identically, and that is on the jewellery website design page.
Collections, not one endless gallery
Silk, cotton, bridal, party wear, daily wear, dress material, each with its own page. Customers arrive knowing roughly what they want, and a page per collection also gives Google something specific to rank.
Fast on mobile data, or it is invisible
A textile catalogue is heavy by nature. We compress and correctly size every image and load them as the customer scrolls, so the page opens in a second or two instead of stalling on a 4G connection and losing the visitor.
One tap from a saree to a conversation
Each piece carries a prefilled WhatsApp button, so the message that reaches you already names the design. No more screenshots arriving with just the word price.
Textile and retail sites that are live
Both textile links below are real shops we designed. Open them on a phone and look at how quickly the catalogue loads, because that is the part that decides whether a customer stays. There is more retail work in the portfolio.
What is included in a textile or saree site
- Catalogue split by fabric, occasion and collection
- Product tiles with photo, name and short description
- Prefilled WhatsApp enquiry on every piece
- New arrivals and festive collection sections
- Wholesale enquiry path if you sell to retailers too
- About the shop, with the family history customers trust
- Location page with map, timings and click to call
- Image compression and lazy loading so a heavy catalogue stays fast
₹6,000 reskins one of our retail designs on your shop's brand and can be live in a few days. An original build starts at ₹10,000, and a large catalogue with collection pages and a blog is ₹20,000. Everything is listed on the services and pricing page.
If you add stock every week, take the admin panel option. You log in, upload photos, name the collection, and the catalogue updates without a message to us.
Selling online works better for textiles than for gold, because the price points are lower and returns are manageable. If you want a checkout we will build one. If you mostly want walk ins and WhatsApp orders, we will build for that instead and save you the money.
Questions we get asked before every project
- My catalogue is hundreds of pieces. Will the site be slow?
- Not if it is built properly. Images are compressed, sized for the screen they appear on, and loaded only as the customer scrolls, so the number of pieces in the catalogue barely affects how fast the first screen appears. The sites that crawl are the ones serving full resolution camera files straight to a phone.
- What does a website actually cost?
- Reskinning one of our ready made designs with your logo, colours, photos and content costs ₹6,000. An original build starts at ₹10,000 for a four to five page site, ₹20,000 for a seven to eight page site with listings and a blog, and ₹40,000 for a full custom booking flow with post launch support. Those are the real numbers, published rather than quoted after a discovery call.
- Can I sell wholesale and retail from the same site?
- Yes, and it is usually worth doing. We keep the retail catalogue public and add a separate wholesale enquiry path, optionally behind a simple login, so trade buyers can request rate lists without your retail customers seeing wholesale prices.
- Who updates the catalogue when new stock arrives?
- Either of us. With the admin panel you upload photos and add pieces yourself in a few minutes. Without it, you send us the photos on WhatsApp and we update the site, which suits shops that refresh stock seasonally rather than weekly.
- Do I need to buy the domain and hosting separately?
- A .com or .in domain costs roughly ₹800 to ₹1,200 a year and you buy it in your own name, so you own it. Hosting for the sites we build is free on Vercel's starter plan for normal business traffic. We set both up with you and hand over the logins. We do not resell hosting or hold your domain hostage.
- How long does it take?
- Three to five days for a reskin once photos arrive. Seven to ten working days for a four to five page original build. Twelve to fifteen for a large catalogue with several collection pages. Getting the photos ready is the slow part, so start shooting before you commission the site.

We will build a working catalogue on your brand and send you the link the same week. You decide after you have seen it on your phone.
