Travel agency website design for operators who sell trips, not page views.
Travel is the only industry we design for. That focus matters more than it sounds. A general web studio hands a tour operator the same layout it would hand a dentist, then drops the packages into a blog. We already know a travel site lives or dies on its itinerary pages, its photography and how quickly a curious traveller can reach a human.
What a travel website design needs that a generic one does not
A page for every package
Each tour gets its own page with a day by day itinerary, inclusions, exclusions and a price. Those pages are what Google indexes and what travellers forward to the person paying, so they carry most of the selling.
Enquiries land on WhatsApp
Indian travellers do not fill in long forms and wait for an email. Every package page has a WhatsApp button that opens a chat already naming the tour they were reading about, so you know what they want before you reply.
Departures and seasons you can change
Rates move with the season and batches fill up. We can wire the site to a simple admin panel so your team edits packages, prices and dates without calling a developer every time.
Built for a phone on mobile data
Trip research happens on a phone, often on a slow connection. Photography is compressed properly and the layout is designed at phone width first, so a gallery heavy travel site still loads quickly.
Structured for destination searches
Clean URLs per destination, correct titles and descriptions, and schema markup for the tour pages. This is the groundwork that lets a small agency rank for specific routes instead of competing head on with the aggregators.
Travel sites we have shipped for Indian agencies
These are working sites, not mockups. Open a few on your phone, look at how the package pages are arranged and how the enquiry button behaves, then tell us which one is closest to what you had in mind.
What it costs and how long it takes
There are two routes. Pick one of the designs on our travel website templates page and we reskin it with your logo, colours, photos and packages from ₹6,000, usually live within a few days. Or we design something original for your brand from ₹20,000, which takes longer because the layout is drawn around your specific routes and the way your team actually sells. The full pricing sits on the services page, and the design and reels work we do alongside the sites is in the portfolio.
Either way you see a working demo on your own brand before you pay anything. Send your logo and a couple of your best selling packages, and we will put them into a real site you can open on your phone.
Questions we get asked before every project
- How much does a travel agency website cost in India?
- Reskinning one of our ready made travel designs with your logo, colours, photos and packages costs ₹6,000. An original build starts at ₹20,000 for a four to five page site, ₹35,000 for a seven to eight page site with tour listings and a blog, and ₹60,000 for a custom booking flow with thirty days of post launch support. Across the Indian market the honest range runs from about ₹5,000 for a template to several lakh for a booking portal, because those are genuinely different products.
- How long does it take to go live?
- Three to five days for a reskinned template once your logo, photos and package details arrive. Seven to ten working days for a four to five page original build, and twelve to fifteen for a larger site with tour listings and a blog. Waiting on content and photos from your side is nearly always the slowest step.
- Can I add and edit packages myself?
- Yes, if you ask for the admin panel option. You log in, add a package, change a price or swap a photo, and the site updates without a message to us. Sites without the panel cost less and we handle package updates for you on WhatsApp, which suits agencies that refresh packages seasonally rather than weekly.
- Do I need a booking engine, or is a website enough?
- For the large majority of Indian agencies and operators, a website is enough. A booking portal with live flight and hotel inventory carries API deposits, transaction fees and a back office to run, and it only pays back at real volume. Taking a booking amount online through a standard payment gateway while a person confirms the rest covers most of the benefit at a fraction of the cost.
- Will moving to a new site lose my Google rankings?
- Not if it is done properly. Every existing URL is mapped to its new address with a permanent redirect before launch, content that is already ranking is kept, and the sitemap is resubmitted afterwards. Rankings usually move for a week or two and then settle. They are lost for good when a site is rebuilt on new URLs with no redirects at all.
- Do you work with agencies outside Ahmedabad?
- Yes. We are based in Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, and we have built travel sites for agencies, tour operators and adventure brands across India. The whole process works over WhatsApp, so location makes no practical difference to the project.
