Travel agency website redesign that keeps your domain and rankings
Short answer: A travel agency website redesign with AlphaX Dezignerz Studio costs ₹8,000, ₹12,000 or ₹16,000, or ₹45,000 for a build with search and booking. We keep your domain and content, redirect every old page to its new address, and show you the new site before you pay. A four to five page redesign takes seven to ten working days.
Most travel agencies who message us already have a website. It was built some years ago, it looks dated on a phone, the packages are out of date and nobody can edit them. A travel agency website redesign fixes those problems without throwing away the domain, the Google history and the content you already paid for.
We read your current site first, list which pages already bring visitors, and plan the new structure around them. You see the new design on your own phone before anything changes on your live domain.

Signs your travel website needs a redesign
A redesign is worth paying for when the site is costing you enquiries. These are the four problems we see most often when an agency sends us its current website. Our guide to common travel agency website mistakes goes through more of them.
It is hard to use on a phone
Most travellers open your link from Instagram or WhatsApp on a phone. If the text is tiny, the menu is awkward or the package page takes too long to load, they go back to the next agency in the chat.
You cannot change a package yourself
Prices and departures change every season. If every edit means calling the person who built the site, old offers stay online. Our Premium plan adds an admin panel so your team can edit packages, prices and photos.
Visitors have no quick way to enquire
A contact form hidden on the last page loses people. Each package should carry a WhatsApp button that sends the tour name with the message, so your team knows what the lead wants before replying.
Every package sits on one long page
Google cannot rank a Kashmir tour that has no page of its own. Separate pages with a day by day itinerary, inclusions and price give each trip a chance to appear in search.
Before and after: two travel websites we rebuilt
Both are real clients and both sites are live, so you can open them on your phone. We do not publish made up traffic numbers. More builds are in our travel website case studies.

What we keep and what every redesign includes
- Your domain, your email records and your existing logins
- A page by page list of what your current site has and what it ranks for
- A redirect from every old page to its new address, so old links keep working
- Your package content and photos moved across and cleaned up
- A new design tested on phones first, shown to you before it goes live
- A WhatsApp enquiry on every package that carries the tour name
- Old links tested and Google Search Console checked after the move
The riskiest part of a redesign is the switch. When page addresses change without redirects, old links break and the rankings those pages earned can drop. We write the redirect map before the new site goes live, keep your domain where it is, and check Search Console after the move. Rankings can still move for a few weeks after any redesign, and nobody can honestly promise otherwise.
A redesign does not have to mean a platform move. If your team is happy on WordPress, we can replace the look with a custom WordPress theme and keep your login. If the old build is slow or hard to maintain, our comparison of WordPress and Next.js for travel agencies explains the trade offs, and Wix vs a custom travel website covers leaving a website builder.
If you have no site worth keeping, start with travel agency website design instead. If you need search, online booking and team logins, see travel portal development. To see the new look before you decide anything, ask for a free demo website on your brand. If only the design is fine and the upkeep is the problem, our website maintenance plan may be all you need.
Questions we get asked before every project
- How much does a travel agency website redesign cost?
- With us it costs the same as a new site: ₹8,000 for Basic, ₹12,000 for Premium with an admin panel and ₹16,000 for Professional with online payments. A build with search, booking and team logins is ₹45,000. The price is fixed in writing before we start.
- Will I lose my Google rankings if I redesign my website?
- You can, if old page addresses are left to break. We keep your domain and redirect every old page to its new address, which is what protects the rankings you have earned. Positions can still move for a few weeks after any redesign, so we check Search Console after the switch.
- Can I keep my domain and email?
- Yes. Your domain stays in your name and your email records are left in place during the move. On the Vinayak Holidays rebuild we kept the agency's Google Workspace email working through the switch.
- How long does a website redesign take?
- Seven to ten working days for a four to five page site, and twelve to fifteen for a larger site with tour listings and a blog. Your old site stays live until you approve the new one. Photos and updated package details from your side are usually the slowest part.
- Do I have to leave WordPress or Wix?
- Not for WordPress. We can build a custom theme and keep your hosting and login, as we did for Global Voyager. Wix sites cannot be redesigned from outside the platform, so we rebuild the site and redirect the old pages when you leave.
- Should I redesign my website or build a new one?
- If your domain has a few years of history or some pages already appear on Google, redesign it and keep that value. If the domain is new and nothing ranks yet, a new build costs the same, so choose whichever gets you online sooner.
- What does a website actually cost?
- Basic is ₹8,000: up to five pages, WhatsApp, call and Instagram buttons, an enquiry form that lands on WhatsApp, Google Maps and SSL. Premium is ₹12,000 and adds your own admin panel to edit packages, prices and photos, an enquiries dashboard and basic SEO setup. Professional is ₹16,000 and adds online payments straight to your bank, bookings around the clock, a reviews section and Google Business and Analytics. The first year of hosting, domain and maintenance is free, then ₹4,000 a year. Anything larger is quoted in writing.
